Yoga for High Schoolers & College Students

Have a high school student or college student home for the summer? Let me introduce them to the benefits of yoga while surrounded by friends! I will be hosting two high school-and-college-student only classes this summer: Sunday, June 25 and Sunday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. One class costs $10; or attend both for just $18. We will breathe deeply and move quickly for an hour while listening to some great music: {I have a 19-year-old and 16-year old who will approve the tunes :-) } Then stay for some (mostly healthy) eats!

Yoga is a marvelous complement to a variety of sports (e.g., stretching out those hamstrings and improving flexibility.) Perhaps even more importantly, the focus on the breath in yoga can be taken wherever your child goes: before a music performance, big sports competition, or important exam, or while completing those college applications!

My hope is these classes will spark a love of yoga that they can take back with them to high school or college -- or attend at my studio as their schedules allow.
